"I have been buying ScoopAway complete from Costco for years as a satisfied customer, until just in the past month the formula is very different. Larger granules, more dust, and no odor control whatsoever. The granule size actually changed from medium size to smaller size, which I loved, but then it went total to the larger granules, like the Kitty Litter brand. It totally sucks. What happened? I'm definitely changing brands as this litter is terrible now"

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No longer my go to litter This was the Best litter up until three or four months ago. Now there are zero blue and white crystals, it's all gray and my cat is tracking it everywhere. What happened to this litter? If isn't broke Don't Fix It!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Clouds of dust Bought a 4 pack of the complete performance as it advertised 99% dust free. Never used it before so thought I would try. The dust was unbelievable! I understand a small amount when adding but not a cloud. The small cloud when scooping out the waste. I tried to take pictures with my phone but it really doesn't show very well. My poor cats breathing this in when burying their waste. Very disappointed with this product and will not buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Kitty Litter I used to use Scoop Away a long time ago. Now I wanted ro try again. I love it and my cat loves it. My cat Lucky pees a lot. It turns into a hard ball. It was very easy to scoop out. A lot better than what I read in the other reviews. It definitely not mushy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Formulation changed for the worst I have been using this product for years with good results, but recently the formulation has changed, and now the litter itself looks more like dirt. The clumped cat urine now dries to the bottom and sides of the litter box like concrete, making it very difficult to scoop it all up. I've had to almost chisel the adherent bits from the bottom and it makes a mess. I will be looking for an alternative product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Changed Formulation keeps getting WORSE I buy this brand cat litter from Costco . It always was a solid performer. The formulation there is Complete Performance Plus. I can't be 100% sure but somewhere around 1 to 2 years ago they started to change their formulation. It seems like they doubled the amount of clay in this litter. It just turns to gray sludge and sticks to everything. I used to pour my cat boxes through a sifting one and it would even get stuck in the sifter. I changed to using Litter Robot 3s. Since around October of 2024 it got markedly worse. I now have to manually unstick it from my Litter Robot every day. It completely gunks up my litter sifter tool. Once upon a time ago my sifter tool was always clean-ish. Like a bad relationship I kept hoping it would get better but it just didn't. I am now breaking up with Scoop Away forever. It is such poor quality litter that it is on par with a brands I bought at discount stores. Now I have do the research to find a better brand of cat litter. Thanks for letting me down..... I hope this review is brought to the attention of the bean counters that tried to save a couple bucks and ruined a perfectly good product. Way to go my fine MBA friends
