- No, we do not recommend flushing any type of clay cat litter, because it can cause clogging.
- Simply remove clumps and solid waste daily and dispose in the trash. Do not flush your litter down the toilet. Once a month, empty your entire litter box and dispose in the trash.
- If you've recently switched to Scoop Away® litter, your cat may need a little time to adjust. You can make the transition easier by sprinkling a thin layer of Scoop Away® Clumping Cat Litter on top of the litter you normally use. Once your cat has adjusted, empty your litter box completely and refill with Scoop Away® litter.
- Scoop Away® litter products are available nationwide in drug and grocery stores, mass distribution stores, such as Wal-Mart, Target and Kmart, club channels, such as Costco and BJ's, and pet specialty stores such as PetSmart and PETCO.
- No, we recommend only using this product for cats.
- No, we don't recommend using clumping cat litter as a traction aid on snow-covered ground. All clumping litters are slippery when wet, and very difficult to remove once placed on a wet cement driveway or patio. These products are only intended for use as cat litters.
- Scoop Away® litter is not known to cause harm to animals, including kittens, when ingested in small quantities. However, if a pet eats a large amount of any litter (i.e. a bowlful), we recommend that you contact your vet.
